Let customers know how much time they have left before an event or promotion ends with a visual reminder.
1. From the dashboard, click Settings on the left-hand menu:
2. Click Pop-up in the Notifications element at the top of the page:
3. Now you need to tick the box to Enable Pop-up:
4. If you want to add a Countdown Timer to your pop-up, tick the box here and then add a Main Title, Subtitle and Description:
Whilst you are putting your pop-up together, you can check how it will display by clicking the Preview Pop-up button in the bottom right-hand corner:
You’ll then see the pop-up display. Click the X symbol to close it down and return to the settings:
5. Further down in the settings, you have fields for Button Text and Button Link URL. If you want to add a button to your pop-up that redirects your customer elsewhere - perhaps to your Terms & Conditions, for example - use the Button Text field to add in the text you’d like displayed on the button:
6. For the Button Link URL field, open an incognito/in-private browser and navigate to the URL you want your button to link to. Copy the URL and paste it into the Button Link URL field:
7. Now you need to set how long you want the pop-up to display. Click the calendar symbol in the Visible From field:
8. Select the relevant date and time from the calendar window and click Apply:
9. Repeat this process with the Visible To field. It’s also worth clicking Preview Pop-up for a final time to check your’ pop-up displays the way you want it to:
10. Finally, you need to click Save Changes in the top right-hand corner:
