Sometimes, customers change their minds and wish to use their vouchers later. If this is the case, you can unredeem their voucher by following the steps in this guide.
1. From the Dashboard, click Orders:
2. You can use the search bar at the top of the page to search for the order using the customer’s last name or the voucher code. You can filter orders by clicking the Filter button on the right-hand side:
3. This will bring up a modal where you can complete the provided fields to search through your existing orders according to dates, payment method used and order total:
4. Alternatively, you can select from the chronological list of orders if the order was placed recently. Click the order number of the order you would like to edit:
5. You’ll then be redirected to this page, which lists all of the details of that particular order:
6. Scroll down this page until you reach the Order Contents element. Click the voucher code:
7. You’ll then be redirected to a page summarising the voucher code. Scroll down to the Activity element and click the Actions button, selecting Unredeem from the drop-down options:
8. You’ll then see this modal. Click Yes:
9. You’ll see a notification at the bottom of the screen advising you that the voucher has been unredeemed, and the Activity element and the validity status on the page have now been updated:
If you have unredeemed the voucher, updating the Order Notes element at the bottom of this page is a good idea. Add details of why the voucher was unredeemed to the field provided before clicking the Add Note button in the bottom right-hand corner:
10. You can then refund or charge your customer if applicable, and they can redeem their voucher again in the future.
