Add a Facebook Pixel

Create a tracking pixel in your Facebook business manager and then add the tracking code to your Giftpro store.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to add Facebook Pixel to your Giftpro store to track events within Meta Business Suite.

Before you begin this guide, it is essential that you have created a Meta Business Suite account.

1. Within your Giftpro account, from the dashboard, you need to click Settings on the left-hand side menu:

2. Within the Integrations element, click Tracking Codes:

3. Click Edit on the right-hand side:

4. In the modal, click Facebook and then click Proceed:

5. You’ll then see this page, where you can add your Pixel ID into the field provided:

When you have completed the fields, click Save Changes in the top right-hand corner:

When configured, Facebook Pixel will automatically track the following events:

  • PageView - The default event is triggered every time a separate page of your store is loaded.

  • Contact - Sent whenever a customer submits a contact form.

  • ViewContent - Sent when a product page (Voucher, Ticket or Product) is viewed. AddToCart - Sent whenever a product is added to your customer's basket.

  • InitiateCheckout - This event is triggered whenever a customer views their basket.

  • Purchase - Sent when a customer completes their purchase and is sent to your Giftpro store checkout success page.
