When a customer wants to purchase a gift voucher, there are a few essential bits of information to capture. Creating a new order for a customer using the steps below is nice and straightforward.

1. From the Dashboard, click Create Order on the left-hand menu:

2. Add the voucher(s) your customer wants to purchase to the basket by clicking ‘Add’. You can also use the quantity box to add multiple vouchers to the order quickly.

3. Depending on the type of voucher you select, you may see a summary window appear for you to select your options or amount. Configurable and Monetary vouchers will require you to select specific options, whilst Standard vouchers are added to the basket instantly:

4. When you have added your vouchers to the basket, you need to click the Proceed button on the right-hand side:

5. On this page, you will need to scroll down to the Order Information element and complete the fields provided:

If your customer does not wish to have a copy of their vouchers emailed to them, tick the box to ‘Send confirmation email to [merchant name]’ instead. After completing the Complimentary Order, you can print the voucher/s for your customer instead.

6. Then, you need to select a Delivery Method:

7. Select Offline Payment as your Payment Method:

8. You’ll then see a summary of the order. If you wish to print this out for your customer, click the Actions button in the top right-hand corner:

9. Then you need to select View Voucher Download Page from the drop-down menu:

10. You’ll then be able to download a PDF of the voucher/s, which can be printed out and handed to your customer.
