This article teaches you how to set up a Limited Validity on an existing gift voucher.
Limited Validity vouchers are a great way to encourage sales in quieter periods by creating urgency and promoting sales.
1. From the Dashboard, click Gifts on the left-hand menu:
2. Then you need to click All Vouchers:
3. From the list of existing vouchers, click the name of the one you would like to add limited validity to:
4. Scroll down to the Validity element, and amend the Validity Period drop-down to Specific Date:
5. Now you need to click the calendar symbol in the Expiry Date field:
6. Select the expiry date from using the calendar:
7. If you want to set these vouchers to become valid from a specific date, tick the ‘Add a valid from period’ tick box:
8. Once selected, you’ll see a Valid From Period drop-down. Select from Hours, Days, Months or a Specific Date you’d like these vouchers to become valid (before the Expiry Date you’ve set above). Then, you need to set your Period Length:
If you set the validity of the gift voucher in the future, the gift voucher will display as ‘not yet valid’ on the Giftpro platform.
9. Click the Save Changes button in the top right-hand corner:
